Matthias Beier
President & CEO
Matt is President and CEO Team Elevate FDI in Atlanta, GA and Berlin, Germany. He is also president of the Transtlantic Business & Investment Council (TBIC), the official representation of more than 100 local U.S. economic development organizations in Europe.
Before he founded TBIC in 2016, he was in a management function of a Berlin-based boutique consultancy that supports European companies entering the international markets, with a strong focus on the United States.
His previous experience of working for international projects of the German Energy Agency (dena) and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany helped him to build a strong international business network that made him find his true passion in connecting people from different industries and backgrounds worldwide.
Matt holds a master degree of political science at Free University of Berlin and took part in international programs, among them University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and Harvard Business School.
